Nando's

Here is a little pictorial record of our visit yesterday to Maidstone, where we sampled the delights of Nando's (and we didn't even try the chicken).

I wasn't sure which of the many sauces to pick, but I thought the Wild Herb sounded good. It  had a nice thyme/oregano vibe to it, with a spicy afterburn.

Napkin.

My choice - the Grilled Portobello Mushroom and Halloumi burger, with chips and 'Macho Peas', which is a mixture of peas, mint and chillies.

Laura had the Veggie burger with the Ratatouille.

Just a shot to show the contents of my sandwich - Portobello, halloumi cheese, lettuce, tomato, and some medium peri-peri sauce in there somewhere.

We both finished with the Rum & Raisin ice cream topped with raisins and honey. Delish.
Later, as we were making our way back to the bus...

Don't panic - it IS on my list.
